Following up on the MEP’s long-running study of Karl Marx’s Grundrisse, this group has been reading closely and discussing Marx’s Theories of Surplus Value and related works. At present we are reading the chapter on Rent from David Harvey’s The Limits to Capital. In the remaining months of 2024 we will read Mute Compulsion by Soren Mau and The Automatic Fetish: The Law of Value in Marx’s Capital by Beverley Best.
