Pluto Wildcat Series: Final 2 sessions—Augmented Exploitation and Wobblies of the World
Fri, June 25, 2021 @ 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
$12 – $18
“A wildcat strike is a strike action undertaken by unionised workers without union leadership’s authorisation, support, or approval”. These books uncover the radical militancy which characterises international workers struggles, both contemporary and historical. Looking at diverse topics including proletarianisation and class formation, mass production, gender, affective and reproductive labour, syndicalism and independent unions, and labour and Leftist social and political movements, it is the most comprehensive exploration into workers’ organisation being developed today.
Series editors: Immanuel Ness (City University of New York) // Peter Cole (Western Illinois University) // Raquel Varela (New University of Lisbon) // Tim Pringle (University of London).
