Immanuel Ness is a political economist and professor of Political Science at City University of New York. He edits Working USA: The Journal of Labor and Society and is the author of numerous works including Guest Workers and Resistance to U.S. Corporate Despotism and Southern Insurgency: The Making of a Global Working Class. He has worked and organized in the food, maintenance, and publishing industries.

Christos Mais was born in Cyprus. He has been involved in the antiwar, anti-imperialist and the internationalist solidarity movements since his student years in Greece. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Leiden focusing his research on the radical publishing of the long 1960s.
