Our task is to build a movement strong enough to stop them” —Naomi Klein’s website. \nAs we sink deeper into the fall election season\, the Topics in Political Strategy reading group will continue our mix of currently-published substantive analytical pieces and a monthly book-length treatment of important topics of political theory. This month\, we read Naomi Klein and Astra Taylor’s just published End Times Fascism\, a compelling look at three separate yet overlapping political currents of the modern right and how to stop them. \nWe study together to understand the wave of reaction which once again has washed over politics\, its reflection in both long historical currents and fast-changing global trends\, and ways to think strategically about new directions for the socialist left.
