MORE AFFORDABLE PASSES—GOOD FOR 12 MONTHS!

We are now offering a year-long passes for not much more than a 6-month pass. If you are paying for yourself and any additional person, you are now able to have two people attend all events, classes or film showings (post-pandemic) that The MEP offers and a modest additional cost.All classes, events, or other type of feature such as film showings or walking tours for a year. For an additional $75 per additional person added to the sliding scale single person fee, two, three, or more people have passes for a year. Combine with anyone you want to join in with.

 

There are a number of significant series that are being offered between now and May 31, 2022 including the the new series on precariousness and a second  Gramsci course that will begin in late January,  a new Socialist Register series on Class, Party, Revolution and Capitalism, Technology, Labor, along with a presentation by Human Banerji, Michael Brie, Gregory Claeys, Silvia Federici, and Marcello Musto on Radical Alternatives with Marx: Migration and Ecology on December 18.  We are opening up 2022 with a dynamic presentation by Mark Jay and Philip Conklin’s A Peoples History of Detroit,  and the convergence of comrades from around the world on Disputing the Deluge, with Darko Suvin and editor Hugh O’Connell joined by Marc Angenot, Gerry Canavan, Patricia McManus, & Eric D. Smith on Sunday, December 12.

Marx’s Grundrisse continues on Saturdays and can be joined at any time. Istvan Meszaros’ The Necessity of Social Control that began on December 1 but can also be joined at any time. In the spring there will be a new Animals and Marxism session as well as a new literature series.
